July 8, 2026. Tampa, FL. Tampa Sister Cities is pleased to announce that Kari Goetz, CEO and Chief Flying Squirrel of Winzig Consulting, has joined the Tampa International Diplomacy and Exchange Summit (TIDES) Operating Committee as Marketing Lead.
Kari is a respected marketing and communications leader with more than 25 years of experience promoting Tampa Bay to audiences locally, nationally, and around the world. Through Winzig Consulting, she specializes in strategic planning, public relations, community engagement, and team building.
Her background spans live entertainment, aviation, tourism, and nonprofit fundraising, giving her a strong understanding of how to build public awareness, engage diverse audiences, and communicate the value of major community initiatives.
In her role with TIDES, Kari will help guide the summit’s marketing and promotional strategy, supporting efforts to build awareness, drive attendance, coordinate messaging, engage partners, and communicate the summit’s value to businesses, institutions, delegations, sponsors, and the broader Tampa Bay community.

As Marketing Lead, Kari will work with the Operating Committee to help position TIDES as a high-impact international summit that reflects Tampa’s global ambition and welcomes the world to our city.
