Born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1976, I immigrated to Ashdod, Israel in 1987. Academically, I hold an MA degree in International Relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Professionally, I serve as the Director of the Ashdod International Relations Department at the Mayor’s Cabinet, directing international municipal cooperation across both routine operations and emergency civil defense scenarios. Additionally, I serve as a Board Member at the Ashdod Sports Authority. On a personal note, I am the proud mother of 15-year-old Tahel.

As part of Ashdod’s global municipal outreach, our sister-city partnership with Tampa, Florida (formalized in 2005) stands as a cornerstone of our international diplomacy. Connecting two vibrant, major coastal hubs facing similar geographical and strategic realities, this partnership fosters deep cross-cultural, civic, and operational exchange.
