Peggy Labat is a French international education professional and the Founder and President of Bridge Across Borders, a Tampa-based nonprofit connecting people, cultures, and communities through education and international exchange. Based in Le Havre, France, Tampa’s sister city, she brings over 20 years of experience in education, cross-cultural collaboration, and international projects. Through Bridge Across Borders and her involvement with LH Connections, she helps build meaningful relationships between students, educators, professionals, and institutions across borders. Her work includes developing culinary education exchanges between Tampa and Le Havre, with a new student experience planned for 2027. At TIDES, Peggy looks forward to strengthening Franco-American relationships and exploring new opportunities for educational, professional, and community collaboration.
