Born in Santa Marta, Colombia, I am a photographer, publicist, and visual storyteller with more than ten years of experience in photography, visual communication, and content creation. I studied Advertising and Advertising Design at Universidad del Litoral in Barranquilla, Colombia.
My work is guided by a personal purpose: to capture the soul of people, preserve meaningful moments, and tell stories through images. Rather than simply creating portraits, I seek to discover the essence of each person and transform authentic moments into visual stories.
I am the creator of Arte Expresión del Alma, a project where photography and writing come together to explore the human, cultural, and emotional dimensions of storytelling.
In the Tampa Bay area, I have collaborated for several years with cultural and community organizations serving the Colombian community. I have been involved with ASOCOL for more than six years and currently manage its Marketing and Advertising efforts. I also develop digital marketing and content creation strategies for different cultural projects and organizations, including Candela Viva, a group dedicated to promoting Colombian folklore through dance, culture, and tradition.
I have also collaborated with the Sister Cities Committee Barranquilla–Tampa, Carnaval de Barranquilla en Tampa Bay, and other community initiatives, participating in some projects on a volunteer basis.
My work combines documentary photography, portraiture, and visual storytelling, viewing photography as a way to preserve memory, identity, and emotion.
For me, photography is listening with the eyes and transforming a fleeting moment into a lasting story.
