Rachel Arin serves as the Director of the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Program at U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) in Tampa, Florida. Following 30 years of honorable service in the U.S. Army, she retired as the U.S. Army Special Operations Public Affairs Sergeant Major and transitioned to civilian leadership within the defense community.

In her current role, Ms. Arin advances the implementation of Women, Peace and Security principles across 21 countries in the Middle East and Central and South Asia, integrating these priorities into theater strategy, security cooperation, and operational planning across one of the world’s most complex, violent, and volatile regions. Her work supports U.S. and Partner Nation efforts to counter violent extremism, address human security challenges, and strengthen regional stability through the advancement of women’s meaningful participation, leadership, civic participation, and military integration.

A published author and active mentor with American Corporate Partners, Ms. Arin holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and remains committed to developing future leaders and expanding opportunities for women in security and defense.
