August 23, 2026. Tampa, FL. Tampa Sister Cities is pleased to announce that Sean Schrader, Director of Operations for Shumaker Advisors Florida, has joined the Tampa International Diplomacy and Exchange Summit (TIDES) Operating Team as Operations Lead.
Sean brings strong experience in operations, public affairs, international engagement, and event execution. In his role at Shumaker Advisors Florida, he helps support the coordination and implementation of strategic initiatives across a wide range of public, private, and civic priorities.
Sean also brings meaningful international experience to TIDES. He represented the United States at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka and has spoken at global forums including the World Bank Youth Summit and NATO Youth Summit. His background reflects a strong understanding of how international events, institutions, and partnerships can bring people together around shared goals.
In his role with TIDES, Sean will help manage the logistical execution of the summit, including venue layout, floor plan coordination, vendor and facility logistics, and onsite event support. He will work closely with the Operating Committee to ensure schedules, spaces, and day-of details are organized and well-coordinated.

TIDES is being developed by Tampa Sister Cities to bring together leaders in international trade, diplomacy, education, innovation, sustainability, culture, and exchange. As Operations Lead, Sean will help ensure that the summit’s logistical planning supports the broader mission of connecting Tampa with the world.
